Well it’s been a busy couple of months, we have been busy framing for a lot of the local art groups exhibitions.  We are currently  framing for the Trinity Artists  (see News & Events page for details) exhibition coming up at the end of the month. But do not be put off coming in to get something framed, we can still fit you in.

Well we just started back from a week's holiday, we had a great time at Portland, the weather was fine.

Well it's that time of the year for the Claverton Down Art Group to put on an exhibition of  work, a must go and see event. It's at the Cleverton Community Hall on Sunday 30th May, 10am to 4pm , and do not forget the yummy homemade cakes!

I have seen some of the work, and it's well up to standard that you would expect from this group of artists. so if you are stuck for something to do over the Bank Holiday weekend,pop along, it is worth the trip

Well it’s March already, time for Spring Cleaning, and while you are at it , take the time to have a look at all your framed pictures on the walls. It is a good idea to take them down and check that the hook is still secure in the wall (not about to fall out) also check the picture wire/cord on the back of the picture, make sure it’s not worn about to break,  and the sealing tape on the back of the picture is not coming undone, sometimes if the picture is above a heat source, the adhesive will dry out and the tape will fall off.

If you are redecorating, you do not have to get new pictures, you could just change the mount or the frame, this does not have to be expensive and it will rejuvenate old and tired pictures. Well what do you think of this weather, are you enjoying it.   We are still trying  opening during this snowy weather, but it would be a good idea to ring ahead to make sure we have made it in ( we have to travel from Bristol)

I should imagine lots of you are taking photos of all the lovely snow, of the family in the snow and all your pets playing in the snow, don’t forget to get them framed. Then in the very hot summer we are going to get, you can cool down looking at them on the wall
